Which Koine Greek words correctly match these ten definitions, that were randomly selected from the most popular 15 to 5,453 biblical Greek word definitions? Use the drop-down list to select how many words the quiz will be randomly generated from (less is easier).

This is the easiest of the language quizzes for complete beginners, if you leave the transliteration turned on — which shows how the Greek words sound using English letters, and makes it much easier. Unlike Hebrew, many of the Greek letters are similiar enough to English that this is almost too easy. However, if you're new to reading Greek, you can use this feature to learn the Greek alphabet. You can also use it to learn (or revise) the word meanings.

To move to the next level, turn the transliteration off — and then you'll need to know the meanings of the words to answer the questions correctly.
